Creating and Managing Tasks

Create a task

To-Do NEW

Click New or press the keyboard shortcut N to create a task. Type the task title and press Enter for a quick capture. Click on the task to expand it and add: a description, due date, priority stars, assignee (if sharing), or a link to an Odoo record (e.g. link a to-do to a specific customer or opportunity).

Kanban stages

To-Do uses a personal Kanban board with stages you can customise. Default stages: New, In Progress, Done. Drag tasks between stages as you work on them. Archive completed tasks to keep the board clean — they are not deleted and can be recovered from the archive.

Keyboard shortcuts To-Do supports keyboard shortcuts for speed: N to create a new task, Enter to confirm, Escape to cancel. When the task list is long, use the search bar to filter by title, due date, or priority rather than scrolling.
