Shopee Connector Overview
The Shopee Connector synchronises your Odoo product catalogue and orders with your Shopee seller account — reducing manual data entry for Malaysian eCommerce sellers.
What Shopee Connector does
Note: Shopee Connector is not a standard Odoo module — it is available as a third-party app from the Odoo App Store or from specialised Malaysian Odoo partners. Functionality typically includes: product sync from Odoo to Shopee, order import from Shopee into Odoo Sales, stock level sync to prevent overselling, and shipment status updates. Specific features depend on the connector version installed.
General setup flow
Typical setup steps for most Shopee connectors: (1) Install the module from the App Store. (2) Configure the connection using your Shopee seller API credentials — found in Shopee Seller Centre > My Account > API. (3) Map Odoo product categories to Shopee categories. (4) Perform an initial product sync. (5) Configure order auto-import frequency. (6) Test with a sample order before going live.
Order management
Once configured, Shopee orders import into Odoo as confirmed sales orders. The connector maps the Shopee buyer to an Odoo contact (creating new contacts for first-time buyers). Products are matched by SKU. Delivery orders are created automatically for fulfillment. When the delivery is shipped and tracking information is added, the connector can update the Shopee order status to Shipped automatically.
