Create a live chat channel

Click New to create a live chat channel.
Channel fields
Channel Name

Internal name — e.g. "Website Support", "Sales Enquiries".
Operators

Agents who handle chats in this channel. They must be logged in and available to receive chats.
Chatbot
Automated bot that responds when no agent is available. See Chatbot configuration below.

Link to your website page to preview the widget.

Widget customisation

Customise the chat button: colour (match your brand), button text ("Chat with us"), position (bottom-right or bottom-left), and availability message when offline. The widget code is auto-generated — paste it into your website's HTML or add it through Odoo's website settings if you use the Odoo Website module.
