Reordering rules automate purchase order or manufacturing order creation when stock drops below a minimum level.

Reordering rule fields
Product
*
The product to replenish.
Location
*
The storage location to maintain stock in.
Route
*
Buy: creates a purchase order. Manufacture: creates a production order.
Min Quantity
*
When on-hand quantity drops to or below this level, replenishment is triggered.
Max Quantity
*
Target quantity to replenish to. The order quantity = Max - current stock.
Quantity Multiple
Order quantity must be a multiple of this number — useful for products sold in packs.
Lead Time
Days to add to calculate the expected arrival date.

RUN SCHEDULER
Click Run Scheduler to check all reordering rules and create procurement orders for products that have fallen below their minimum quantities. This can also be set to run automatically overnight. Review the created purchase orders before confirming them.
