Appraisal Templates
Templates define the questions asked in employee and manager assessments. Create different templates for different roles or levels. Each template has sections and questions — text answers, ratings (1-5 stars), or multiple choice. A well-designed template takes 20-30 minutes to complete and focuses on concrete behaviours rather than abstract traits.
Malaysian context
For Malaysian companies, appraisal results are often linked to salary review (increment percentage based on rating) and training nominations. Keep these linkages documented in your HR policy even if the system does not enforce them automatically.
