Inventory Synchronisation
Stock levels are synchronised between Odoo and Shopee to prevent overselling.
How inventory sync works
When stock levels change in Odoo — from a validated delivery, a purchase receipt, or a manual adjustment — the connector automatically updates the corresponding product quantity on Shopee. This prevents customers from ordering items that are out of stock. Inventory sync applies to FBM and Hybrid products only — FBS stock is managed by Shopee's warehouse and not synced.
Multi-channel stock allocation
If you sell on both your own website (Odoo eCommerce) and Shopee, both channels draw from the same Odoo inventory. Monitor stock levels carefully to avoid committing the same units to both channels. Use Odoo's reordering rules to maintain sufficient stock for both. Consider maintaining a dedicated virtual location for Shopee stock if you need hard separation between channels.
