Creating and Sending Campaigns
A campaign is a single email send — one message to one or more contact lists.

Create a campaign

Click New to create a new campaign.
Campaign fields
Email Subject

Subject line of the email. Keep it under 60 characters for best deliverability.
Recipients

The contact list or filter to send to — e.g. all customers, a specific tag, or a saved filter.
From

Sender name and email address. Use a verified domain for best deliverability.
Schedule Send
Leave blank to send immediately after review. Set a date/time for scheduled sending.

Design the email
Click Design to open the email builder. Choose a template or start from blank. The drag-and-drop editor lets you add text blocks, images, buttons, and dividers. Use the dynamic field feature to personalise — insert {{contact.name}} to address each recipient by name. Preview on desktop and mobile before sending.
Malaysian email compliance
Malaysian anti-spam law (Communications and Multimedia Act) requires: a clear unsubscribe link in every commercial email, your company's physical address in the footer, and no misleading subject lines. Odoo includes the unsubscribe link automatically — ensure your footer includes your registered company address.

Send and analyse
Click Send or Schedule. Once sent, the campaign dashboard shows: Sent, Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Replied, Bounced, and Unsubscribed counts. Open rate above 20% is good for B2B. Click rate above 2% is strong. High bounce rates (>5%) indicate list quality issues — clean your list.
