Orders
All online orders appear in eCommerce > Orders and in Sales > Orders simultaneously. Each order shows: customer, items purchased, total, payment status, and fulfilment status. Online orders are confirmed immediately upon successful payment — no manual confirmation needed.

Abandoned carts

Abandoned Carts
Abandoned carts are checkouts started but not completed. Odoo tracks them and can send automated recovery emails — "You left something in your cart". Configure the recovery email timing and content in eCommerce > Configuration > Settings. Recovery email campaigns typically recover 5-15% of abandoned carts.
Recovery email timing
Send the first recovery email 1 hour after abandonment — this catches people who got distracted. Send a second email 24 hours later with a small incentive if the cart is still abandoned. Do not send more than two recovery emails.
