Clock In and Out
Employees record their attendance through one of several methods.
Web kiosk
Kiosk Mode turns any browser into a clock-in terminal. Employees identify themselves by scanning a badge, entering a PIN, or selecting their name. The kiosk shows the current time and confirms clock-in or clock-out. Use a tablet mounted at the entrance for a dedicated time clock station.
Mobile app clock-in
Employees can clock in and out from the Odoo mobile app. The app records the GPS location at clock-in — useful for remote workers or field staff. If GPS is required, employees outside the permitted radius receive a warning. Location data is stored against each attendance record for manager review.
Manual attendance entry
Managers can create or edit attendance records manually. Use this to correct a missed clock-out, add attendance for a public holiday worked, or backfill records from a paper register during system migration. All manual entries are flagged in the audit log.
